We lived in Dresden for 9 months.
Hi, I am Eric Muller. My wife and I lived in Dresden from September, 2008 to June, 2009. We lived in a villa in Kleinzschachwitz and worked at the MPI. If you are going to travel to Dresden, poke around my posts and you will discover fantastic places to visit.

Horses and cheap along the Elbe
Short post tonight. I had a mini-breakthrough with my research, and was working on my computer all night. But of course, I did take time to talk to Stephen so to wish him a happy birthday, and to cheer Patrick on as he approaches his first major challenge-three tests in three days next week.
Anyway, we live on the outskirts of a great city. So we get the best of two worlds - city and country life. As we bike around our home we get to see people riding on their horses, and if we go just a little up river, there are farms with sheep.
One note. I am teaching someone a little English and trying to get them to pronounce sheep and cheap differently. Hard work.
