Madlen Wenerski and Trisha's new haircut

Hello fans. Sorry I have been away from the blogosphere for a few days. We were getting home too late for me too start a post. For instance last Thursday we did not get home 'till 11. Why?

Last Thursday we spent from 6:30 to 10:00 at the Madlen Wenerski hair salon. Janine had discovered this salon on the web. The salon had won a prestigious award. Trish had her hair cut by Chris. I just love the cut. One of my favorite cuts ever. And her hair is so refreshed. Right after the cut she looked so European. Chris had dried her hair straight. But there are no pictures of that.....

Instead I present a picture of her on our favorite tram, S1, as we head out to go shopping yesterday.

A successful shopping was followed by a 5 star meal at Casanova. You should check out that link. I agree with the online critic site that suggested that Casanova is one of the best restaurants in Dresden. My steak melted in my mouth, the pasta dish was so wonderful. One of our favorite meals. I had a dessert that was in a new phyla for me. A creamy, light pudding based on whipped egg whites with a hint of Marsala. A masterpiece, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Ohhhhhhhh so goooooood. And not very expensive, by American standards.

Today (Sunday) we are heading out for our first big bike ride- to Bad Schandau. It will take us 3 hours, we hope. Then the plan is to take a swim at the spaToskana Therme. After a swim we will take the train back. So I am not sure I will get another blog in today.

But I did need to post something. Three days without a post was just too long.
