Schloss Pillnitz Camellia

The Camellia at Schloss Pillnitz is in bloom! Back in the Fall we were amazed when they slid an enormous green house over the camellia to protect it from frost. The camellia is over 200 years old and 8 meters high.

We went over on the ferry and took a walk to see it again. And now it has just started to bloom.
