We lived in Dresden for 9 months.

Hi, I am Eric Muller. My wife and I lived in Dresden from September, 2008 to June, 2009. We lived in a villa in Kleinzschachwitz and worked at the MPI. If you are going to travel to Dresden, poke around my posts and you will discover fantastic places to visit.

Carbon Footprint

From Carbon Footprint

Electricity is very expensive here. Even though our rent includes the electricity, we have decided to do our part in saving power. Many people, even in the wealthy neighborhoods, hang their clothes out to dry. Why not us? When I was a boy I would help my mother by hanging clothes. I never imagined it would be part of our sabbatical. I chuckle when I remember that at Davidson College our Patrick is having is laundry done for him.
So we commute by bike, and hang our laundry to dry, how about that for reducing our carbon footprint!
