We lived in Dresden for 9 months.

Hi, I am Eric Muller. My wife and I lived in Dresden from September, 2008 to June, 2009. We lived in a villa in Kleinzschachwitz and worked at the MPI. If you are going to travel to Dresden, poke around my posts and you will discover fantastic places to visit.

Blessed Meal

Today when I was at work I realized that I forgot something at home, so I bicycled an extra 11 miles (total) back and forth to the Institute. At the end of the day my legs burned with exhaustion. But, when we finally climbed the stairs to our flat, what did I see on the table next to the our door, but dinner. Our landlady had made fresh sauerkraut, with roast pork, gravy and potatoes. All warm and ready to eat. Also a fresh salad with chopped peppers, cucumber and feta cheese in a special vinaigrette. I can not describe the bliss I felt. I am living over a family of angels. Lucky to be alive. Lucky to be alive.
