The Yard - Photo Essay

I took some time this past Saturday to photograph the yard. Today I share the lovely place we are calling home here in Germany. Take a look.
The entrance.

Turning around from the last picture, we see that the landlady has returned with our water and beer. They have offered to purchase our heavy liquids, since we only have bikes. They are just fantastic! Prepared dinner for us tonight! I don't believe in heaven, but if I did, it would bear a strong resemblance to my life here.

From the main yard, looking away from the street down to their ice cream hut, which is on the bike trail. We get free ice cream.

Walking down to the ice cream hut, this shot from the back wall shows the sign on the bike trail that has the distances to the nearest points.

Looking back along the trail on the back edge of the property. The bike path is on the other side of the fence on the right, through the trees.
